The Comfort 220 is alternatively available with a budget-price chain rail or with a particularly silent tooth belt rail, in three different lengths depending on the respective door.

Drive system

The characteristics of the drive system fulfil high requirements concerning comfort and safety, and it can be extended by using the Marantec flat cable system.

Comfort characteristics

Due to its basing point technology, the door can be driven to its final position more accurately than with any other conventional technology. This is a measure that significantly contributes to noise reduction. The system is contact-free and has no mechanical wear.

The motor casing, which is made of high-strength and sound-absorbing special plastics, includes an antiglare garage lighting. When operating the door, the light automatically switches on; after three minutes it automatically switches off.

The fast release can be used to rapidly and easily separate the door from the drive system in order to manually operate the door in case of power failure.

The soft-start/soft-stop function of the door starts the door without shock and softly stops the door shortly before reaching the final position, thus lowering noise and minimising wear.
